In this role you will be contributing to the editorial efforts specifically through podcasts on the Editorial & Publishing team. We make content that helps our fans discover new shows, movies and talent or fall more deeply in love with something they’ve already watched. This role reports to the Head of Podcasts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage editorial podcast (new and existing) strategy including, but not limited to: creative vision, hiring and managing production companies and hosts, review of episodes, managing editorial calendar, and create promotional content/launch plans
• Be the internal Netflix podcast lead for all weekly and bi-weekly podcast formats tied to genres (Reality, Documentary) as well as multi-title Publishing efforts (Tudum, Queue), as well as any multi-title efforts to be developed
• Act as the podcast lead for our audience sub-brands: Golden, Strong Black Lead, Con Todo, Most, and Netflix Kids & Family
• Work collaboratively with partners across Editorial & Publishing, including Tudum, to identify newsworthy content from audio that will connect with their audiences
• Consult with various internal stakeholders team on new podcast development in terms of creative vision, best practices, budget, infrastructure needs and launch plans
• Negotiate contracts & manage outside partners & agencies
• Manage project based budgets
• Coordinate all internal asset deliverables
• Be a hub for creative excellence, identifying talent and managing relationships
The Ideal Candidate Is/Has:
• At least 2+ years of experience in podcasting development and production with a proven track record of exceptional storytelling and audience growth & engagement

Qualities We’re Looking For

We are looking for a finance professional to partner with two of our growing areas of the business (Mergers & Acquisitions and Gaming). The perfect candidate for this role is someone that has a solid understanding of the P2P (procure-to-pay) workflow, a deep knowledge of workflow and process integrations, experience in driving change management, and a passion for developing strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various functions such as M&A, Gaming, Accounts Payable, Accounting, FP&A, IT, Legal and Tax.
This position will provide support to cross-functional business partners as follows:
